The Fe-TiO2/BiOI composite photocatalytic material is prepared through the following steps: firstly, synthesizing Fe-TiO2 and BiOI by use of a hydrothermal method, uniformly mixing, and then mechanically grinding to obtain the material. When the prepared composite photocatalytic material is under the visible light irradiation, the photocatalytic activity of 0.5% Fe-TiO2/BiOI is 630.56 times that of pure TiO2, is 22.37 times that of 0.5% Fe-TiO2, and 1.74 time that of pure BiOI.
