The method comprises the steps of obtaining a first charging current value output by a voltage output port of the charger and a second charging current value received by a data transmission port, wherein the first charging current value is larger than or equal to the second charging current value, and the second charging current value is a charging current value obtained by a battery of a mobile terminal in charging; judging whether a difference value between the first charging current value and the second charging current value is larger than a preset threshold value; controlling connection between the voltage output port of the charger and the data transmission port to be disconnected when the difference value between the first charging current value and the second charging current value is larger than the preset threshold value.
