Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to the field of photovoltaic, and discloses a photovoltaic array shadow computation method base on Arcgis, so that researchers can within any time segment determine the blocking situation of the shadows of the front row photovoltaic subassemblies to a back row photovoltaic subassemblies. According to the method, a model is built upon the directional vector of the sun and a component support and the ground, a transformation matrix of the boundary points of the photovoltaic subassemblies to the projection points on the ground is derived, the shadowed areas of the back row photovoltaic subassemblies are accurately obtained through the inversion of the transformation matrix of the overlapping area of the shadows of the front and back subassemblies. The photovoltaic array shadow computation method is applicable to the photovoltaic power stations in mountain areas with complicated terrains.
