Display device and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention discloses a display device comprising an insulating layer, an element layer, an electrode, a counter substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The insulating layer comprises a contact hole in which the material of the insulating layer is silicon oxide, silicon nitride, or silicon oxynitride. The element layer is disposed on the insulating layer and the element layer comprises at least one electronic component. The electrodes are disposed in the insulating layer with respect to the surface of the element layer and the contact hole, wherein the electrodes are electrically connected to at least one electronic component.
