Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a device and a method for improving the performance of a steel tube. According to the device and the method for improving the performance of the steel tube, the performance of one single steel tube or small-batch steel tubes can be conveniently and rapidly improved or adjusted, the requirements of users can be met quickly and flexibly, and the requirements of engineering construction can be met. The device comprises a machine body fixedly arranged, an operation board arranged on the machine body, an electromagnetic induction heating system used for local heating of the steel tube, a cooling system used for cooling the heated steel tube and a clamping and pulling system used for providing motion power for the steel tube.
