The present invention belongs to the field of pharmaceutical chemistry industry, and relates to a hydantoin compound and uses of the hydantoin compound as a beta-secretase inhibitor, particularly to a compound represented by a formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, a solvate or a hydrate thereof. According to the present invention, the compound represented by the formula I can be used as the beta-secretase inhibitor, and can be used for preparing drugs for treatment and/or prevention of diseases or disorders associated with beta-amyloid polypeptide aggregation or precipitation.
