The eight ingredient New Year cakes comprise the following ingredients in weight percentages: 50-55% of millet flour, 10-20% of sweet potatoes, 5-10% of pumpkins, 6-10% of colocasia esculenta, 5-10% of Chinese yams, 3-5% of raisins, 3-5% of Chinese wolfberry fruits and 3-5% of red beans.
