Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the cross technical field of solid mechanics and high-speed cutting and discloses a method for testing mechanical properties of a metal material having ultrahigh strain rate. The testing method comprises the steps that firstly, a high-speed right-angled cutting experiment platform is erected for experiment preparation; a right-angled cutting experiment of variable cutting parameters is performed to obtain cuttings under different cutting parameters, and a main cutting force FC, feeding resistance FT and tool measuring point temperature Tc are obtained; the obtained cuttings are grounded and inlayed, grinding and polishing treatment are performed respectively, meanwhile an etchant solution is prepared to perform etchant treatment, then a cutting thickness a0 and a shear slippage distance deltax of the cuttings are observed under a microscope; a high-speed right-angled cutting model based on the shear slippage distance deltax is established to represent the mechanical properties of an e
