Processing method of CADI (Carbidic Austempered Ductile Iron) grinding balls for grinding machine

The invention relates to a processing method of CADI (Carbidic Austempered Ductile Iron) grinding balls applied in grinding machines in the industries such as metallurgy, mines, cements and thermal power plants. Compared with a manufacturing method of the CADI grinding balls acquired through traditional casting, the processing method provided by the invention is mainly characterized by comprising the steps of (1) adopting ductile cast iron bar materials as raw materials; (2) heating the ductile cast iron bar materials in a heating furnace to a certain temperature, placing in a skew rolling mill, and hot rolling to obtain semi-finished balls according to a skew rolling and balling principle; and (3) isothermal quenching and tempering the semi-finished balls to finally obtain the finished CADI grinding balls.
