Zusammenfassung:Provided is an electrostatic surge prevention structure allowing for an improvement of resistance against electrostatic surge, a reduction in costs and man-hours, and space-saving. Provided at a position corresponding to a gap (41) created between a front case (22) and a touch panel assembly (21) in a display device (12) is a flexible printed circuit board (31) connected to a control printed circuit board housed in the front case (22). The flexible printed circuit board (31) has two layers of conductor portions (43, 44), and the surfaces of these conductor portions (43, 44) are covered with insulating coats (46, 47). Formed in a portion facing the gap (41) is an exposed portion (44A) where the insulating coat (47) has been peeled to expose the conductor portion (44) to the exterior (or a coat portion (51) by way of plating serving as the exposed portion).
