The present invention concerns a method for cleaning an object made wholly or in part of a plastic, comprising contacting said object/said plastic with a liquid composition comprising one or more enzymes. The invention further concerns use of one or more enzymes for prolonging the lifetime of an object made wholly or in part of a plastic.
