According to the present invention, the thermal barrier coating stripping method is used for a gas turbine member, wherein a cooling hole is formed on a member main body, and a thermal barrier coating comprising an outer coating and an inner coating is formed on the surface of the member main body; and the thermal barrier coating stripping method comprises: a local outer coating stripping process (S11), wherein at least the outer coating around the cooling hole is stripped through machining treatment; a shielding process (S12), wherein the part being subjected to outer coating stripping in the local outer coating stripping process is shielded; a main outer coating stripping process (S13), wherein the outer coating is stripped through sand blasting treatment after the shielding process; and an inner coating stripping process (S2), wherein the inner coating is striped through machining treatmen
