The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a target character identification corresponding to a wireless network after the wireless network is detected, wherein the target character identification at least comprises a target MAC address, and the target MAC address is the physical address of wireless equipment forming the wireless network; determining a target icon identification corresponding to the wireless network based on the target MAC address in the target character identification; and displaying the identification information, determined based on the target icon identification, of the wireless network.
