The method comprises the following steps: confirming a rise span ratio of an arch rib as 1/5-1/3 and the quantity of stay cables in the vertical surface of the bridge as 12 according to the span, width and load requirements of the arch bridge; dividing a girder into seven equal sections along the span direction and selecting six suspension points on the girder; simultaneously, dividing the arch rib into eight equal sections along the horizontal direction and selecting seven suspension points on the arch rib; arranging the stay cables according to the shape in the drawing 1 and modeling a finite element; performing loading combination computing according to the permanent action, variable action and accident action in the design specifications; lastly, confirming the construction of each part of the bridge.
