Method for manufacturing thickener composition

Provided is a method for manufacturing a thickener composition in which lumping is minimized even when used on a high-temperature liquid, and high dispersion performance is maintained. A method for manufacturing a thickener composition is performed, said method including: (a) a step for spraying an aqueous solution containing guar gum or tara gum as a binder solution onto a raw material powder containing a thickening polysaccharide as the main component, and obtaining granules; and (b) a step for obtaining a mixture of the granules obtained in step (a) and a dissolution aid. 提供即使在高温的液体中使用时也可抑制块状物的产生、维持高分散性的增粘剂组合物的制造方法。进行具有以下步骤(a)和(b)的增粘剂组合物的制造方法：(a)在含有增粘多糖类作为主成分的粉末原料上，将含有瓜尔胶或塔拉胶的水溶液作为粘合剂液进行喷雾而得到造粒物的步骤；(b)得到步骤(a)中所得的造粒物和溶解助剂的混合物的步骤。
