The stop valve comprises a valve seat and a valve core, wherein the valve seat is provided with a valve cavity and a valve port; the valve core is arranged in the valve cavity; the valve core can move front and back to close or open the valve port; the valve core is provided with a mounting part; the mounting part is provided with a seal ring; when the valve core closes the valve port, the seal ring and the inner side wall of the valve port are in soft seal; the mounting part is provided with a shaft shoulder, pushing parts and stop structures; the seal ring is positioned between the shaft shoulder and the pushing parts; the pushing parts are positioned between the seal ring and the stop structures, and can move front and back; a blocking part is arranged on the inner side wall of the valve port; when the valve core closes the valve port, the pushing parts move backwards relative to the valve core under the blocking of the blocking part; and the seal ring can be extruded
