Direct current (DC) backup equipment is applicable for being electrically connected with a server, and comprises a battery backup system comprising N battery backup units and a battery backup control unit, wherein the battery backup control unit can be arranged outside the N battery backup units or inside one of the N battery backup units; and each N battery backup unit is electrically connected with the battery backup control unit, and provides status information and previous self-detection information to the battery backup control unit, so that when one input power supply is off, the battery backup control unit can control at least one of the N battery backup units to supply power to the server.
