The invention provides a device enclosure and a method for isntalling an electronic device therein. The device enclosure includes a housing, a shaft, and a front panel. The housing defines a receiving bay configured to slidably receive an electronic device. The shaft is slidably mounted on a sidewall of said housing, includes a rear flange, and is slidable between a retracted position and a deployed position.
