Integrated circuit capable of performing safety scanning

The invention relates to an integrated circuit capable of performing safety scanning. When the integrated circuit is in the safety function mode and an attempt of accessing the data stored in the registers capable of connecting a scanning chain and related to the safety includes locally and selectively setting a scanning enabling signal to be effective at the corresponding branch of a scanning enabling tree, the integrated circuit senses the attempt.
