According to the characteristic that the content of sulfide in the water produced in the sulfur-containing gas field is high and the characteristics of the sulfide in the water produced in the sulfur-containing gas field, a sulfur removal agent which can quick generate precipitate with the sulfide and effectively eliminate influences of the sulfide is selected, a sample meeting experiment analysis requirements is prepared, the aim of safely and accurately measuring the content of the chloride in the water produced in the sulfur-containing gas field can be achieved, and corrosion to experiment equipment can be reduced.
