The invention discloses an identification and judgment method of seismic magnitude. The identification and judgment method comprises the steps of: utilizing seismic wave acquisition stations for acquiring seismic waves; extracting feature information in the seismic waves acquired by the seismic wave acquisition stations, and calculating the seismic magnitude; judging whether peak of the seismic waveform has passed or the seismic waves have subsided; regarding the seismic magnitude calculated by adopting a seismic magnitude actual measurement formula as seismic early-warning magnitude of one seismic wave acquisition station if the seismic wave acquisition station detects that the peak of the seismic waveform has passed or the seismic waves have subsided; averaging the seismic early-warning magnitude of the seismic wave acquisition stations; and integrating the seismic early-warning magnitude.
