Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an apparatus for treating a fibrous web (W) by applying a treatment substance to both surfaces (WT, WB) of a fibrous web (W). The apparatus (10) comprises two rollers (11, 12), a treatment nip being formed between the two rollers (11, 12); and means (31, 32, 33, 34) for coating the treatment substance. The apparatus (10) applies the treatment substance directly or via the surface of the rollers (11, 12) to the surface of the fibrous web.
