Zusammenfassung: | In order to improve the cooling performance of the rotor of a rotating electric machine, in view of the relationship between the secondary and main flows of a cooling gas occurring, in a rotating state of the rotor, inside a cooling gas ventilation hole provided in a rotor winding formed by laminating a conductor and an inter-layer insulating layer, an inner wall surface of the rotor winding ventilation hole on the negative pressure side is provided with a shape change in a protrusion linearly appearing in the direction of said lamination so as to suppress the secondary flow of the cooling gas.
