Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for segmenting a color image composed of pixels which has been captured, for example, using a digital microscope and is intended to be subjected to automatic analysis. The invention furthermore relates to a digital microscope with which the method according to the invention can be implemented. The method provides for first a color to be selected which represents a region to be segmented of the color image. The colors assigned to the pixels and the selected color are to be provided in accordance with a first color model based on three color stimuli. A clearance for each of the pixels is to be determined which represents a distance between the selected color and the color of the corresponding pixel in accordance with the first color model. The colors assigned to the pixels and the selected color are to be provided in accordance with a perception-oriented second color model, for which purpose at least in each case one hue is determined for the colors assigned to the pixe
