Method for segmenting a color image and digital microscope

The present invention relates to a method for segmenting a color image composed of pixels which has been captured, for example, using a digital microscope and is intended to be subjected to automatic analysis. The invention furthermore relates to a digital microscope with which the method according to the invention can be implemented. The method provides for first a color to be selected which represents a region to be segmented of the color image. The colors assigned to the pixels and the selected color are to be provided in accordance with a first color model based on three color stimuli. A clearance for each of the pixels is to be determined which represents a distance between the selected color and the color of the corresponding pixel in accordance with the first color model.
