The invention discloses a communication terminal, a network and a method for improving time synchronization accuracy in a power distribution network and relates to the field of distribution automation in an electric power system, in particular to network time synchronization and clock synchronization of a master station and a power distribution terminal in the power distribution network. In the communication terminal, a CPU is connected to a memory, a network interface module, a serial interface module, a wireless communication module, a timing module and an RTC module; the terminal is used in the distribution automation communication network; and the terminal has a step of own time synchronization and a step of time synchronization for the distribution terminal.
