The invention discloses a flexible wide rare-earth magnet and a preparation method thereof. The flexible wide rare-earth magnet is a continuous sheet or coil; the thickness of the magnet is 1-3mm; the width of the magnet is 200-1500mm; the magnetic energy product of the magnet is greater than 5MGOe; and the linear deformation rate of the magnet after heat preservation at 150 DEG C for 12 hours is smaller than 2%.
