Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a multisensor fusion based fall detection system and method. The system comprises a plantar pressure detection subsystem and a human gesture detection subsystem; the plantar pressure detection subsystem comprises a plurality of force sensors, a first single chip microcomputer and a first wireless communication module; the human gesture detection subsystem comprises an acceleration sensor, an angle sensor, a second wireless communication module and a second single chip microcomputer. By the system and method, the status of a human can be judged effectively, and the multisensor fusion technique is combined to analyze whether a human falls or not; by rational layout of the force sensors, acquired pressure values can rationally reflect the center-of-gravity state of the human, and after center-of-gravity distribution of the human is correctly grasped, the three-axis acceleration sensor of the chest and a gyroscope are combined to more accurately judge whether the human falls or not; misju
