The clamping type filter element comprises a filter element assembly, a first elastic self locking assembly and a second elastic self locking assembly, wherein a water inlet channel and a water outlet channel are arranged at the end part of the filter element assembly, the first elastic self locking assembly and the second self locking assembly are respectively arranged in the water inlet channel and the water outlet channel; when the first self locking assembly and the second self locking assembly are in a self locking state, the water inlet channel and the water outlet channel are in a sealed state.
