The invention relates to an air purifier with a high purifying rate. The air purifier is characterized by comprising an air purifier body (1), a top air inlet (2), filter air holes (3), filter inserting plates (4), an air outlet pipe (5) and an exhaust fan (6); the filter inserting plates (4) are arranged inside the air purifier body (1), the filter air holes (3) are formed in the filter inserting plates (4) respectively, the air outlet pipe (5) is arranged on the lower portion of a right side plate of the air purifier body (1), the exhaust fan (6) is arranged on the inner surface of a bottom plate of the air purifier body (2), a silencer is installed inside the air outlet pipe (5), and a filter screen is installed in the top air inlet (2).
