The present invention discloses a video list switch control method and apparatus. The video list switch control method comprises the steps of initializing a network request queue and sequentially executing cache network requests in the network request queue, and determining shortest abandon time corresponding to the cache network requests; acquiring a current network request in the shortest abandon time; determining whether a repeated network request with the same content as the current network request exists in the cache network requests; if the repeated network request exists, determining whether the repeated network request can be abandoned; and if the repeated network request can be abandoned, abandoning the repeated network request, and adding the current network request to the network request queue in sequence.
