The liquid desiccant is mainly formed by mixing a liquid drying material and an ultraviolet absorbing material. The electroluminescent device comprises a substrate, a cover plate, and an electroluminescent structure between the substrate and the cover plate, a packaging colloid layer at the periphery of the electroluminescent structure, and a liquid desiccant layer which is arranged between the electroluminescent structure and the cover plate and is prepared by using the above liquid desiccant for the electroluminescent device.
