The mechanism comprises a stepping motor, a speed reducer, a speed reducing gear pair, a steering transmission shaft, a cushioning spring, a steering connecting mechanism and the like. A steering torque of the motor is transmitted to the steering transmission shaft through a speed reducing mechanism, and the steering torque is provided for a wheel assembly through a ball contact steering knuckle. According to the structure, a steering motor and the speed reducer are integrated into the steering connecting mechanism.
