The invention discloses an unlocking method, an unlocking device and terminal equipment. The unlocking method comprises the following steps of presetting an unlocking picture and an unlocking password; displaying at least two pictures on a screen locking interface in a preset mode; receiving the unlocking picture selected by a user from at least two pictures; judging whether the selected unlocking picture is identical with the preset unlocking picture or not; displaying an unlocking password input interface; acquiring a to-be-verified unlocking password inputted by the user on the unlocking password input interface; judging whether the to-be-verified unlocking password is identical with the preset unlocking password or not; when the unlocking picture selected by the user is the preset unlocking picture, and the to-be-verified unlocking password is identical with the preset unlocking password, performing unlocking operation. According to the unlocking method provided by the invention, by identifying the operat
