Image backup method and system

The invention discloses an image backup method and system used for selectively and automatically carrying out data backup according to preset image backup judging conditions so as to reduce the backup data size and save the space of backup equipment. The image backup method comprises the steps that data of video images is obtained; weight values of the data of the video images are determined according to the preset weight value judging conditions; whether the weight values are larger than a preset weight value threshold value or not is judged, and if yes, the data of the video images is backed up. 本发明公开了种图像备份的方法及系统，用以根据预设的图像备份的判断条件，选择性的自动进行数据的备份，从而减小备份的数据量，节省了备份设备的空间。所述图像备份的方法包括：获取视频图像的数据；根据预设的权重值判断条件，确定所述视频图像的数据的权重值；判断所述权重值是否大于预设的权重值阈值，若是，则将所述视频图像的数据进行备份。
