The mining fire preventing and extinguishing high polymer material contains 25-35% of sodium polyacrylate particles, 60-70% of solid state powder filler, and 5% of flame retardant in percentage by weight. The mining fire preventing and extinguishing gel material is prepared by mixing the mining fire preventing and extinguishing high polymer material with water in a mass ratio of 1: (100-150).
