Photovoltaic modules are in array arrangement and supported by a module support system formed by crossbeams, vertical columns, diagonal supports and module support steel cables. The photovoltaic module replacement system is characterized by comprising operation and maintenance steel cables, people carrying devices and module lifting devices, the operation and maintenance steel cables are pre-mounted along each row of the photovoltaic modules and parallel to the module support steel cables, the people carrying devices in pairs are used for people to ride, the module lifting devices can be used for placement of the photovoltaic modules, and the people carrying devices and the module lifting devices are movably connected to the operation and maintenance steel cables and capable of moving along the same. The photovo
