Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a solenoid valve for a fuel system comprising an electric coil and an armature disposed in a housing. The armature cooperates with the housing and the armature plate to form a magnetic loop, wherein the armature plate carries a valve element which forms a switchable valve at the valve seat with the through hole. When a current flows through the coil, a magnetic field is generated in the armature and the armature plate is sucked into the running position by the armature. When the coil has no current, the armature plate is returned to the rest position. According to the present invention, a valve seat, a valve element, a valve spring and an armature plate form a valve unit. In the valve unit, the valve seat is loosely held between the valve element and the armature plate.
