Device and method for cleaning internal region of heat exchanger

The invention relates to a device and method for cleaning an internal region of a heat exchanger. High-pressure water jets are utilized for cleaning the internal region of the heat exchanger, in particularly a device (1) for cleaning a steam generator (2) of a nuclear station is provided with an elevating device (4) with a manipulator (5) which can be introduced into a vertical channel (6) between beams of the heat exchanger. The manipulator (5) is provided with at least one rotatably-installed nozzles (8, 8,1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4) which can rotate around rotary axes (S1, S2, S3, S4). The directions are matchced with beam distances of the heat exchanger (3).
