What is described is a polyester monofilament containing a) 60% to 85% by weight of a polyester raw material selected from the group of polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate, dicarboxylic acid-modified polyethylene terephthalate, dicarboxylic acid-modified polyethylene naphthalate or combinations thereof, b) 14.4% to 30% by weight of a thermoplastic elastomeric block copolymer, c) 0.05% to 10% by weight of a polycarbonate, and d) 0.1% to 10% by weight of a carbodiimide stabilizer, wherein the stated amounts are based on the total amount of the monofilament.
