Icon arrangement method and system

The invention discloses an icon arrangement method which is applied to electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps of receiving a signal, for arranging icons in a wheel disk shape, triggered by a user; obtaining icons to be arranged; determining the quantity of the obtained icons and determining the quantity of wheel disks according to the quantity of the obtained icons; and arranging the obtained icons on the wheel disks on the basis of the quantity of the wheel disks. The invention furthermore provides an icon arrangement system.
