The invention discloses a control method, which is used for controlling the brightness of a display screen of an electronic apparatus. The display screen comprises a pixel array. The control method comprises the steps of detecting an excessively bright pixel with the brightness greater than a predetermined brightness value; determining a predetermined coefficient according to an adjustment level; multiplying a difference value between the brightness of the excessively bright pixel and the predetermined brightness value by the predetermined coefficient to obtain a product, and adding the predetermined brightness value to the product so as to obtain harmonic brightness of the excessively bright pixel; and adjusting the excessively bright pixel to the harmonic brightness.
