According to the method, porous cellulose aerogel is prepared, and nitrifying bacteria and denitrifying bacteria are adsorbed and immobilized to the porous cellulose aerogel by adopting a carrier combining method. According to the method, microbes are immobilized to the porous cellulose aerogel so as to treat the ammonia nitrogen water, and the microbe-immobilized sewage is enabled to be in an aerobic state or anaerobic state according to different aeration conditions, so that the conduction of synchronous nitrifying and denitrifying reactions is facilitated, the capability of removal of the ammonia nitrogen is very good, the reaction efficiency is high, and the stability is high.
