A peel removing device for chestnuts comprises the components of a cylinder housing (1) with a through chamber, a sieve (3) which is arranged at the end surface of the bottom end of the cylinder housing (1) and is used for clamping the peels of the chestnuts, and a roller (2) which is arranged in the cylinder housing (1) and is used for generating an impacting and twisting force on the peels of the chestnuts that are clamped on the sieve (3). In the cylinder housing (1), the fresh chestnuts are clamped in the sieve (3) through a function of the roller (2). Then the impacting force is generated through the roller (2), thereby removing the peel on the external surface of the fresh chestnuts.
