Grafting method for lagerstroemia indica

The invention relates to a grafting method for lagerstroemia indica. A seedling is selected as a rootstock. Local lagerstroemia indica is selected as an interstock, and American red lagerstroemia indica as scions. The method specifically comprises the following steps: (1) grafting American red lagerstroemia indica, including sowing the seedlings and the local lagerstroemia indica in the beginning of May, starting to graft when seedling plant height is about 2 m, using a scion grafting method, removing heads of local lagerstroemia indica branches and a seedling stock, and grafting; using a cut-grafting method to graft; (2) managing after grafting, in order to make grafting seedlings preferably grow, enhancing fertilizer, weeding, and insect disease prevention and other field management operation in a fast-growing stage.
