Electrical connector provided with a cable clamping device

The invention relates to a cable clamping device (1), for example for an electrical connector, comprising at least one bush (2) and a clamping ring (3). The bush (2) and the clamping ring (3) both comprise an opening for the passage of a cable (4). A bush has a number of bush portions which, joined together, form a sleeve about the cable (4). Two flanges (45, 47) bear the bush portions and are articulated to a casing (5) so as to pivot between an unclamped position of each bush (2), in which the cable (4) can be moved, and a clamped position, in which each bush (2) is kept clamped to the cable (4) by the clamping ring (3).
