The power demand response load reduction quantity calculation method is characterized in comprising the following steps: S1: using five methods to solve user power load baselines which are independently a K2 baseline method, a K3 baseline method, a K4 baseline method, a K5 baseline method and a K6 baseline method; S2: judging baseline applicability: a) solving the correlation coefficient of a practical load curve and each above baseline, b) solving a distance value between the practical load curve and each above baseline, c) solving a relative error between peak period power consumption calculated by each above baseline and practical power consumption, and multiplying the results of three criterions by the weight of each criterion, carrying out summation, and taking a minimum as an optimal baseline; and S3: carrying out power demand response user load reduction quantity calculat
