The invention provides an alloy type coating material and a preparation method thereof. The alloy type coating material is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 10 to 95 parts of polypropylene resin, 5 to 90 parts of polyethylene resin, 0 to 10 parts of propylene-ethylene copolymer, 0 to 5 parts of acrylate grafted polypropylene, 0 to 5 parts of acrylate grafted polyethylene, 0 to 1 part of antioxidant, 0 to 0.7 part of polypropylene nucleating agent and 0 to 0.4 part of peroxide.
