The invention relates to a support-free escalator truss which comprises an inner truss (1) and is characterized in that the inner truss (1) is mounted in an outer truss; upper chord members (2), middle chord members (3), lower chord members (4), end vertical rods (6), a first cross rod (7) and a second cross rod (12) are welded to constitute the outer truss; end sway rods (8), sway rods (9), middle sway rods (10) and middle vertical rods (11) are welded between the upper chord members (2) and the lower chord members (4) to form a whole with a dual-layer structure; first supporting cushion blocks (5) are arranged between the lower surface of the inner truss (1) and the first cross rod (7) of the outer truss; and second supporting cushion blocks (13) are arranged between the side surface of the inner truss (1) and the upper chord member (2) of the outer truss.
