According to module configuration (5) in the embodiment of the invention, the framework system comprises a two-dimensional array (7) and multiple membrane modules (6) extending between upper and lower block-type manifolds (8) and (9). The module array is divided into module sub-groups (10) which are separated through a space (11) extending to stretch across the two-dimensional array (7).
