Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an optical anisotropic membrane manufacturing method, an optical element, a liquid crystal display device, and an organic electroluminescence display device. The method can manufacture an excellent optical anisotropic membrane with uniform molecule orientation. The method comprises a coating step: coating a supporting base material with solution containing polymerized liquid crystal compound; a heating step: heating the membrane obtained at the step of coating to temperature TH in order to enable the solution to be evaporized; a step of cooling: cooling the membrane at step of heating to room temperature; and a step of polymerization: irradiating the membrane and enabling the membrane to be polymerized.
